Last Friday marked the 4th edition of Cycling Day, organised brilliantly by two of our team members for the London teams.

The day kicked off with a relaxed breakfast, followed by a site tour of Peterborough Road, our project in Fulham. A great way to ease into the day before the real challenge!

At 9am, the race was on!
Our 9 participants set off on an epic 90km journey to Brighton, tackling a cumulative elevation gain of 850m. It was a tough ride, completed in 6 hours (+1 hour break), taking them through the scenic Sussex countryside and ending with the infamous Ditchling Beacon. This legendary climb, stretching 1.6 km with an average gradient of 10%, is no easy feat but provided an exhilarating challenge before finally reaching the coast.

Mission accomplished!
They arrived in Brighton around 4pm, with the sea finally in sight… and treated themselves to a well-deserved ice cream along the seafront. A perfect end to a day full of effort and achievement.

A huge congratulations to to all the participants for their determination 👏
