Shorts Gardens
topping out.

On Friday 17 March, we held a topping out ceremony at our Shorts Gardens site in Covent Garden, marking the great progress that has been made on the complex project so far.

Located in the heart of London West End and designed by architectural practice Buckley Gray Yeoman with delivery managed by AWW, Shorts Gardens includes the refurbishment and conversion of a historical logistics building.

With a rich history as a private electrical station, home to London Electricity Board and believed to have been used by the UK Ministry of Defence during World War 2, the rejuvenated building will be a mix of commercial space, residential and restaurant space.

We were delighted to be joined by our partners on the project, including our client Span Group Ltd and architects Buckley Gray Yeoman, to celebrate this milestone.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for this exciting scheme, which is due for completion in 2024!
