In the heart of London near Fleet Street, Legendre UK has been appointed by Original Works to deliver the redevelopment of 10 Salisbury Square, a landmark sustainable office project known as Oriel St Bride’s.
The six-storey building will be significantly upgraded to deliver around 54,000 sq ft of high-quality office space, including two additional floors, alongside extensive roof terraces and improved public realm. The design also introduces a distinctive oriel window with views towards the nearby Grade I-listed St Bride’s Church.
Sustainability is central to the scheme, with 90% of the existing structure retained and a low-carbon construction approach adopted. The project will feature all-electric systems, on-site renewables and natural ventilation strategies, targeting BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 5 Stars, as well as very low embodied carbon performance.
Strategically located between the West End and the City, within the Fleet Street Conservation Area, the redevelopment is set to complete in Autumn 2027 and contributes to the wider transformation of the Salisbury Square area into a major civic and commercial hub.
